Macro Life is a series of fourteen photographic studies of botanical forms encountered after their natural transformation.
The series emerged from a return to photography and to an earlier way of looking: the intimacy of macro photography, the observation of small forms, and the curiosity of looking closely.
The flowers were collected in variety and left to dry naturally, without preservation or intervention. Their colours shifted, petals fell, and structures changed unpredictably. From this collection, fourteen forms were selected intuitively and transformed through the photographic process.
The work considers memory not as a fixed archive, but as a process of selection, transformation, loss, and return. Through macro magnification, familiar botanical forms are displaced from their ordinary scale and context, becoming something less certain: sometimes sculptural, sometimes organic, sometimes almost unfamiliar.
Macro Life is not an attempt to reconstruct the past, but an act of looking again: a personal return to the origins of seeing, and to what remains worth retaining.
Each image is released in a limited edition of 100 prints, split across three sizes. When an edition closes, it is never reopened.
